Indoor + outdoor deep clean
Locally based in the Whitsundays
A deep clean of both the indoor head unit and the outdoor condenser, across the Whitsundays and Bowen.
Covers off and filters washed, then the coil cleaned with a specialised chemical cleaner and the fan barrel deep cleaned.
The outdoor condenser coil is cleaned to clear dirt and debris so the system can release heat properly.
Drop sheets and catch bags go down first, and the area is left clean and tidy when we finish.
1. Protect the area. We put down drop sheets and fit a catch bag around the indoor head unit so water and grime are collected rather than landing on your walls or floor.
2. Clean the indoor unit. We dismantle the unit and remove the covers, then take out and wash the filters. Next we clean the coil with a specialised chemical cleaner and deep clean the fan barrel. The fan barrel is the spinning drum that pushes air into the room, and it is where a lot of hidden grime and smell comes from.
3. Clean the outdoor unit. We clean the condenser coil to clear dust, dirt and debris. A clean condenser can release heat more easily, so the whole system works less hard.
4. Reassemble and tidy up. Everything goes back together, we pack up the drop sheets and catch bags, and we leave the room tidy. A split system generally takes up to 1 hour per unit to clean. As a rule of thumb, most homes book once a year, while units that run most days or sit in holiday rentals usually benefit from more frequent cleans.

Indoor and outdoor units cleaned, and the room left tidy.
A damp or stale smell on start-up usually means grime inside the coil or fan barrel.
Clogged filters and coils restrict airflow, so the room takes longer to cool.
Black spots on the louvres or fan are a sign it is time for a deep clean.
We clean split systems in Airlie Beach, Cannonvale, Cannon Valley, Jubilee Pocket, Proserpine, Hamilton Island and all Bowen suburbs.
What to expect from a split system deep clean.
We dismantle the indoor unit and remove the covers, wash the filters, clean the coil with a specialised chemical cleaner and deep clean the fan barrel. We also clean the outdoor condenser coil. Drop sheets and catch bags protect your home throughout.
Generally up to 1 hour per unit. If you have several split systems, allow up to an hour for each one.

It is the spinning drum inside the head unit that blows air into the room. Grime builds up on it and can cause smells, so we clean it as part of every deep clean.
Yes. We also clean ducted, multi-head, cassette and package units. Ducted systems start with a first visit covering the filters, drain, vents and a coil inspection.
